Garbage food — I completely wasted my money. I read all the positive reviews and was convinced to place a big order for a family dinner, but it was just horrible. None of us could eat it. We ended up throwing everything in the garbage. It was embarrassing in front of my guests. The food wasn’t spicy, had no taste, and felt old. I suggest everyone order a small portion first, and if you actually like it, then place a big order.
Ravi and his wife are amazing, and the food was so authentic and tasty. I had goat roti with some doubles. I will be coming back for sure Thanks Ravi
We ordered our doubles and aloo pies and one of each there. It was hot, tasty and served to us. Also bought 5 dahlpuri and 7 buss up shut for take out. I visited Ravi's back in August while at my brother's in Bradford, from Windsor and I am back visiting from yesterday and had to get my fill of Trini food. Thanks Ravi.
My brother told me about this place and said that I had to try it. I live in Mississauga area so decided to take a drive out on Saturday. The doubles were yummy. I definitely would not mind coming back here again. The couple were very nice. Place was very quiet. I hope to see this place pick up soon. More people need to try this Trini spot.
Large portion sizes and delicious roti and doubles! The roti is made fresh to order and packed with flavour. My dad, who’s Trinidadian, said this is the best doubles he’s ever had. Ravi is so kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We’re already looking forward to going back soon!
I went here yesterday around 7:40, they close at 8, I got 2 doubles and jerk chicken with noodles, around 4-5 hours later after eating that food, I was sick to my stomach for hours and also severe diarrhea, I had to miss a days worth of work, I went to the doctors and they told me it was food poisoning, that was the only thing I ate that evening, I had a slice of pizza for lunch around 12:00pm prior, all I am saying is just to be careful with the chicken. And make sure it’s fully cooked, it was not a fun experience.
Just opened. I had the chicken doubles and the minis. Small donut with sauce. It's a savory snack. All was so good. Can't wait to try more of this food.
